Professional Background

Ben entered the mortgage industry in 1998 as a mortgage loan originator with a small mortgage company in Greensboro, NC.  He quickly moved up to management in 1999.  In 2003 he joined Citigroup’s Wholesale Division where he built and managed a territory of over 90 accounts,  In 2005 Ben joined Bank of America as a Wholesale Account Executive where is was consistently ranked among the top in his region.  In all, Ben has experienced the mortgage industry from almost every capacity; from wholesale origination, management, training and development, to establishing and retaining business to business relationships within the industry. It is this experience that has made Ben a great asset as Sales and Operations Manager at CFL Mortgage.      

Personal Background

Ben grew up in Chicago and enjoys going back every year to visit family and to take in a Cubs game.  After high school, he moved to Florida to attend Eckerd College in St. Petersburg where he majored in Sociology.  After graduation, he and his wife Kelly made their way to North Carolina, which he loves calling home. 

Outside of work Ben stays busy and enjoys spending time with his wife and two children.  He also enjoys his annual fishing trips, attending Carolina Panther games, and spending time with his family and friends at the beach.
